  4. Communal Text: Read Chapter 7 of Forty Acres and Maybe a Mule and answer the following question on a separate piece of paper (Copy and restate the question):

--What emotions is Pascal feeling after Chapter 7? Use 2 quotes from the chapter to support your answer.

  4. Study Island Online Assignment: Complete “Quote Accurately From A Text” assignment #2.


Thursday, 3/19

  1. Do Now: Daily Edit Week 3 Day 3 + Language Review Week 1 Thursday & Friday
  2. Constructed Response Read/Annotate:
    1. Read the constructed response prompt for "Kendra's Discovery" BEFORE reading the story.
    2. Then, read and annotate “Kendra’s Discovery” passage.
    3. Annotate at least 4 words you do not know and at least 4 key details in the story.
  3. Constructed Response R.A.C.E.S. Graphic Organizer: Fill out the first page of the graphic organizer for the "Kendra's Discovery" writing prompt.
  4. Study Island Online Writing Assignment: Complete “Writing Assignment 1.”
  5. Constructed Response Final Draft: Complete 2nd page of R.A.C.E.S. graphic organizer, then write out final draft of constructed response for "Kendra's Discovery".
